These terms cover your use of BuyOrFI and the BuyOrFI Scenario Pack. BuyOrFI is offered by Five Talent Consulting, Inc., a Texas corporation ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms.
Educational use only
BuyOrFI is an educational calculator. It is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, rent, or invest. Results depend entirely on the assumptions you enter and on a simplified model that leaves out many real-world factors. Talk to a qualified professional before making a big financial decision.
The free calculator
The calculator is free to use. You may not resell it or present it as your own.
The Scenario Pack
- The Scenario Pack is a one-time $19 purchase. It is not a subscription.
- Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the pack's features. Please don't share or publish your license key.
- The pack unlocks features in your browser. Saved scenarios live on your device. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, you can unlock again with the same key, but your saved scenarios won't move with you.
Payment and refunds
Purchases are processed by Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record. Gumroad's terms apply to checkout and payment. You can ask for a refund within 30 days of purchase through Gumroad. Once a purchase is refunded or charged back, its license key stops unlocking the pack.
No guarantees
We work to keep BuyOrFI accurate and available, but the site is provided "as is." We can't promise it will be error-free or always online. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for decisions you make based on its results, and our total liability to you won't be more than the amount you paid for the Scenario Pack.
Changes
We may update the site or these terms. If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date above.
